What an unforgettable evening at the theatre! Students and staff from Carmel College were treated to a truly West End–worthy performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat by *Darlington Operatic Society — and it was nothing short of spectacular.
From the dazzling colours of Joseph’s famous coat to a performance bursting with energy, humour and heart, the show had us completely captivated. With one show‑stopping number after another, it’s no surprise we were all quietly (and not so quietly!) thinking, “Any Dream Will Do.”
A very special mention goes to our incredible Sixth Form stars, Faith and Eva, along with our talented Carmel alumni, who shone brilliantly on stage. Your performances truly did close every door to doubt and open every door to brilliance — we couldn’t be prouder of you all.
The entire cast had the audience clapping, smiling and maybe even doing a little “Go, Go, Go Joseph!” in their seats! It was a joy to see such a vibrant, high‑quality production and to support performers from our own Carmel family.
