Today, our school community came together to celebrate our first Mass of Eastertide, marking the beginning of this joyful and hope‑filled season in the Church’s year.
We are very grateful to Father Binoy, who celebrated Mass with us and helped guide our prayer so thoughtfully as we reflected on the Easter message. His presence made the celebration especially meaningful for staff and students alike.
It was wonderful to witness the reverence, engagement and confidence shown by our students in 8R and 8M, who contributed beautifully through their readings and responses. Their thoughtful participation added greatly to the prayerful atmosphere of the liturgy. We also extend our thanks to the liturgy group, whose uplifting music enhanced our worship and helped lead us in joyful praise.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that He is the Bread of Life. During this Easter season, we are invited to reflect on how, just as in the story of the Road to Emmaus, we come to recognise Christ in the breaking of bread. This message sat at the heart of our celebration, reminding us of Christ’s living presence among us.
It was a truly prayerful and special Mass, bringing our school community together in faith as we continue our journey through Eastertide.
