Francophonie Day at Carmel Was FRANCTASTIQUE!
What a magnifique day we had yesterday as Carmel celebrated Francophonie Day — a joyful celebration of French language, culture, and creativity! A huge merci beaucoup to Madame Frank for bringing the spirit of la francophonie to life across the college. There were surprises, smiles, and plenty of “ooh la la!” moments throughout the day.
Lenten Fundraising Hits £1007 — And Still Rising!
Our Lenten fundraising is gathering wonderful momentum here at Carmel College! We’re delighted to share that we have now raised an impressive £1007 for the St Augustine’s Conference of the St Vincent de Paul Society — and that total is from just 13 forms so far. With many more still to contribute, we’re excited to see this figure continue to grow.

What an incredible weekend for Team Carmel! On Saturday, our U13 boys travelled to Bradford Grammar School for the National Schools Table Tennis Area Finals, and the day could not have gone any better. As reigning County Durham champions, the team faced tough opponents from across the North East and Yorkshire, but they rose to the challenge with outstanding skill, composure and determination.
