What a fantastic way to begin the season for our newly formed U13 Girls’ Football Team, who secured a well-deserved victory in their first league fixture of the year.
Travelling to Haughton School for their opening match in the U13 Girls’ Schools League Cup, the team delivered an excellent performance full of determination, teamwork and some superb football. Both sides played their part in an entertaining and competitive game, but it was wonderful to see the Carmel girls working so effectively together and showcasing their talent from the very first whistle.
Their hard work paid off as Carmel came away with a fantastic win, giving the team the perfect start to the season.
