Our French adventure began bright and early as we set off en route to Dover, suitcases packed, spirits high and just a little fatigued. With snacks au chocolat in hand and plenty of excitement buzzing around, we practised our bonjour, dreamed of baguettes and crêpes, and prepared ourselves to seas the day as we crossed the Channel. The adventure was officially underway!
Soon enough, we were on the ferry and sailing towards France. Despite the early start, excitement filled the air as students took in the experience of crossing countries together. A huge thank‑you goes to our wonderful staff, who generously gave up their holidays to make this unforgettable trip possible — truly magnifique.
Paris: A City Like No Other

Our first full day in France saw us immersed in the magic of Paris. A brilliant walking tour gave students the chance to soak up the sights, sounds and tastes of this iconic city — from bustling streets to quiet corners full of charm. Along the way, we learned fascinating facts, including that the Eiffel Tower, now one of the most recognisable landmarks in the world, was originally built for the 1889 World’s Fair and was only meant to be temporary!
Throughout the day, our students were absolutely outstanding — respectful, enthusiastic and curious — a real credit to the college.
Art, Faith and Reflection

Another highlight of the trip was our visit to the Louvre Museum, home to over 35,000 works of art, including the famous Mona Lisa. Standing in such a world‑renowned space was a powerful reminder of the richness of human creativity and history.
From there, we travelled to the beautiful Sacré‑Cœur Basilica, perched at the highest point in Paris. The views alone were breathtaking, but the experience became even more special when we paused to say a prayer inside the basilica with a nun — a quiet, reflective moment reminding us of what truly matters. Sacré‑Cœur is a place of continual prayer, with perpetual adoration taking place day and night since 1885, and it was a privilege to be part of that sacred atmosphere, even briefly.
Once again, our young people were incredible — embracing every moment, supporting one another and experiencing the trip together with warmth, maturity and joy.
A Magical Finale at Disneyland Paris

The trip reached its most magical stop with our arrival at Disneyland Paris — and what a day it was! From thrilling rides to sweet treats, laughter echoed throughout the park as memories were made that will last a lifetime.
The behaviour was truly Disney‑licious, the smiles were contagious, and the energy was unbeatable. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a well‑earned Minnie break from reality and soaking up every magical moment.
Memories to Treasure
From Dover to Disney, from Parisian streets to peaceful prayer, this trip has been nothing short of exceptional. The students have represented the college brilliantly every step of the way, and the memories made will be treasured for years to come.
Merci beaucoup to everyone who helped make this experience so special — what a truly très bien adventure
