What a joyful and faith‑filled St Patrick’s Day we enjoyed at Carmel College — a day full of prayer, cake and plenty of craic!
Coming Together in Prayer
We began our afternoon in a truly reflective way, gathering together for the Stations of the Cross, before celebrating Holy Mass for the Feast of St Patrick.
It was wonderful to be joined by our Mini Vinnies from St Augustine’s and St Bede’s, along with members of our adult SVP conference, parishioners, parents, grandparents and friends. It really was a beautiful coming together of our Carmel faith community.
A Tea Party Filled with Joy
Following Mass, everyone came together for a fantastic St Patrick’s Day tea party, complete with Irish music, laughter and plenty of conversation. The hall was full of smiles and celebration!
A Standout Irish Dancing Performance
The highlight of the afternoon was an extraordinary Irish dancing performance by Maggie in Year 9.
Her talent, confidence and pure joy lit up the room — she even brought a tear to a few Irish eyes! What an unforgettable moment.
Celebrating St Patrick, Apostle of Ireland
What a beautiful afternoon of faith, friendship and community as we honoured St Patrick, Apostle of Ireland.
