Carmel College is celebrating another fantastic sporting achievement as our Year 8 Boys Football Team have secured their place in the County Cup Semi‑Final. It was an outstanding performance from start to finish, showcasing teamwork, determination, and real sporting talent.
In a brilliant Quarter Final match, the team delivered a dominant 6–2 victory over St. John’s of Bishop Auckland. From the first whistle, the boys played with confidence and energy, controlling the game and demonstrating the skill that has carried them through this year’s competition. Their hard work on the training pitch was clear to see, and the result keeps their exciting cup journey very much alive.
This win marks a proud moment for Team Carmel. The players represented the college with passion and sportsmanship, earning well‑deserved praise for their performance and attitude. It was a memorable night for the team, their coaches, and everyone cheering them on.
