Students at Carmel College in Darlington enjoyed a truly memorable Year 9 Stepping Up Day, marking an important milestone as they prepare to begin Year 10.
A Day to Remember
The event was filled with celebration, with students coming together to reflect on their journey so far and look ahead to the next stage of their education. The day was described as “absolutely amazing”, creating a real sense of achievement and excitement across the year group.
A Special Evening Celebration
The celebrations were rounded off with a fantastic formal meal, giving students the opportunity to come together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The atmosphere throughout the event was positive and uplifting, making it a truly special occasion.
Recognising Contribution and Talent
A number of individuals played a key role in making the event such a success. Special thanks were given to Daisy and Gallilea for their outstanding performances, to Sam, the caretaker, for his DJ skills, and to Aston and his team for providing first-class food.
