The College Development Fund 

At Carmel College, we are committed to delivering an outstanding educational environment for every student—now and in the future. Our College Development Fund, supported by monthly parental contributions, plays a crucial role in making this a reality. Thanks to the generosity of parents and carers, we have been able to deliver real improvements across our campus in recent years, including a new Science and Music building, a state-of-the-art artificial grass pitch, ongoing sports pitch upgrades, and innovative resources such as robots for computing lessons. Further investment has enabled us to add eSports facilities, a climbing wall, enhanced site security, a brand-new VI Form Centre, covered outdoor seating, and the refurbishment of key student facilities like the Year 7 toilets, with more upgrades planned.

Every £5 a month donated goes directly towards projects that benefit students—whether it’s upgrading learning spaces, improving safety, or providing new opportunities that simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise. With your continued support, we can ensure Carmel remains a thriving, forward-thinking school—not just for those here today, but for every young person joining us in the years to come.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a vital part of our school community. It brings together parents, carers, and school staff to support the school and enrich the educational experience of all our students.

Our PTA works hard to:

  • Build a strong school community by fostering positive relationships between families and staff.
  • Organise fun events like school fairs, discos, and raffles that bring everyone together through enrichment opportunities.
  • Raise funds for extra resources, equipment, and activities that benefit all pupils.
