OneDrive

OneDrive works with Office, so it’s easy to create, edit, and share your documents, simply click on ‘New Document’ then select your document type. Saving these docs to OneDrive means you can access them on any device. Share files or entire folders, like photo albums, without attaching anything. Send an email with a link to only what you share and everything else in your OneDrive stays private by clicking on the three dots beside the document/folder name and then clicking ‘Share’, you can then specify who to share these items with. With 25GB of storage available you’ll have room plenty of space for your work.

Accessing Documents

Documents stored in your Office 365 OneDrive are available on a wide variety of devices, including tablets, phones, and computers even when Office is not installed. Sign in to Office 365, go to your OneDrive library, then click (or tap) the name of a Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, or PDF document. The document opens in your browser, in Office Online. If you want to make changes to a file on a site and you want to make sure no one else can edit it, check out the file. When you have the file checked out, you can edit it online or offline, and save it—multiple times, if necessary. If you want to edit an Office document at the same time as other people (also called co-authoring), don’t check out the document. Just open it and edit it.
