After a successful Darlington Schools Competition all of Team Carmel’s Sports Hall Athletics teams qualified for the Tees Valley Finals held at Eston Leisure Centre on Thursday 16th January. To qualify the Year 7 girls, Year 8 Girls and Year 8 Boys were all crowned Darlington Champions with the Year 7 Boys finishing as runners up. At the finals the standard of competition was very high and all athletes competed very well. Results were as follows:
Year 7 Boys – 4th
Year 7 Girls – Runners Up
Year 8 Boys – 5th
Year 8 Girls – Champions
