Sports Leaders for the St Augustine’s Shield
Seven, Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders ran the St Augustine’s Shield, a football tournament involving 16 teams of year 4 primary pupils. This was the third year of the event which took place on the 3G pitch at Eastbourne Sports Complex. The leaders acted as referees and team managers in a fiercely contested competition, involving mixed teams of 10 a-side. They all enjoyed the experience and were a credit to Carmel.
