Nathaniel Bell Runner Up in North East Pentathlon
Nathaniel Bell (5) won the silver medal in the Junior Boys Pentathlon, at the English Schools’ North East Combined events championships. Nat ran 13.73 secs in the hurdles, 9.65m in the shot, 5.36m in the long jump, 1.50m in the high jump and finished with a personal best in the 800m of 2 minutes16.48 seconds. His total score of 2340 points was also a personal best. The Durham team won the team event and Nat will now compete in the English Schools’ Combined Events Championships in Exeter in September. Well done Nat!
