Emma and Jessica Get Active at Loughborough University
Emma Burgess (10L) and Jessica Briggs (11C) have been selected to represent the Tees Valley Leadership Academy at the Youth Sport Trust Girls Active Camp at Loughborough University in April. The camp is funded by Sport England and run in partnership with Women in Sport, the camp seeks to increase sport and physical activity levels among girls aged 14 – 16. The girls will participate in a series of practical sessions, looking at how they can become role models for other girls and inspire them to participate, lead and volunteer in sport. Emma and Jessica have been coaching the young swimmers at the Carmel Swimming Club. Congratulations to both of you!
